29 CFR 1910.132(a): Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered: a) Work Yard - An employee was not wearing protective equipment when he was carrying containers of corrosive sulfuric acid from the storage area to the truck; on or about 8/24/13. Note: In addition to abatement certification the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19. S.O.S Sewer & Drain was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.132(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 453556, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/1/12.
