29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): Machine guarding was not provided to protect operator(s) and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks; On or August 26, 2013, and at times prior thereto, in the maintenance department employees were operating a Clausing drill press model # 2274 S/N 527552 with no guards, exposing the employees to amputation hazards.
