29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. At the location of 738 8th St. in Valley Center, KS employees engaged in roofing activity were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 10 feet from the eave to the ground below. The employees were exposed in that a fall protection system was not in place to keep them from falling.
