29 CFR 1910.134(g)(1)(i)(A): Respirators with tight-fitting facepieces were worn by employees who had facial hair that came between the sealing surface of the facepiece and the face or that interfered with valve function: (a) Clearwater Waste Loading Facility, on or about August 29, 2013, and at times prior thereto, employee, with at least a days growth of a beard, wore a 3M, half mask respirator with a #2097 P100 filter for particulate and nuisance organics. Note: Abatement certification is required for this item.

29 CFR 1910.134(h)(1): Respirators were not cleaned and disinfected using the procedures in Appendix B-2 of 29 CFR 1910.134 or equivalent procedures recommended by the respirator manufacturer: (a) Clearwater Waste Loading Facility, on or about August 29, 2013, and at times prior thereto, no soap and water or other cleaning supplies are provided for cleaning and disinfecting respiratory protection, 3M, P100, with a 2097 particulate and nuisance organics filter. Note: Abatement certification is required for this item.
