On or about August 30, 2013, at the above addressed jobsite, an inspection was not conducted by a competent person capable of correcting hazards such as falls, which could result in employee injuries.

Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. a. On or about August 30, 2013, at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing roofing operations approximately nine (9) feet above the ground were not protected from falls, thereby exposing employees to the hazards associated with falls.
