29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about August 23, 2013 and times prior thereto, employees of Affordable Residential Roofing, Inc. performed roofing operation on a one story residence located at or near 9 Greymoss Cove in Little Rock, Arkansas. The employees were installing shingles onto a 10:12 steep sloped rooftop without the use of fall protection, exposing them to a fall distance of greater than 6 feet. The Affordable Residential Roofing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315174052, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on June 8, 2012 with a final abatement date of May 5, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at or near #9 Winthrop Point, Little Rock, Arkansas 72211.
