29 CFR 1926.403(i)(2)(i): Except as required or permitted elsewhere in this subpart, live parts of electric equipment operating at 50 volts or more shall be guarded against accidental contact by cabinets or other forms of enclosures, or by any of the following means: a) Second floor between columns E-18 and F-19. While the live parts of the temporary panel box were not protected from accidental contact an employee of a subcontracted fire sprinkler installation company had been utilizing, plugged and unplugged, from an outlet at the panel to charge the battery of a scissors lift. In doing so the employee was exposed to the energized parts inside the 120 volt 30 amp temporary power panel.
