29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, personal fall arrest system, or other approved alternative fall protection system: (a) A Cut Above Siding Contractors at 1500 Tipton Drive, Windsor, CO 80550: On 9/3/13, the employer did not ensure that fall protection systems were utilized by each employee engaged in fascia work at the roofs edge while working from a 5-in-12 pitch roof on a residential two story apartment at building F. This condition exposed the employees to the hazard of falling up to 22 feet eave to ground. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
