29 CFR 1926.62(h)(1): All surfaces were not maintained as fee as practicable of accumulations of lead. (a) Atsalis Brothers Painting, Warren, Michigan: On or about October 21, 2013, at work site located at the Craig Memorial Bridge, Toledo, Ohio, the employer did not ensure that the foreman's company vehicle was as free as practicable of lead. The employees used the truck as an office, break area, and lunch area and were exposed to hazards associated with lead. A wipe sample collected from the steering wheel of the truck revealed the presence of lead at a concentration of 43.022 ug/sample. (b) Atsalis Brothers Painting, Warren, Michigan: On or about October 21, 2013, at work site located at the Craig Memorial Bridge, Toledo, Ohio, the employer did not ensure that the clean side of the decontamination trailer was as free as practicable of lead. While changing into street clothes employees were exposed to hazards associated with lead. A wipe sample collected from the decontamination trailer's clean side revealed the presence of lead at a concentration of 43.576 ug/100 cm2 (404 ug/ft2).

(a) Atsalis Brothers Painting, Warren, Michigan: On or about October 21, 2013, at the work site located at Craig Memorial Bridge, Toledo, Ohio, the employer did not ensure that the foreman's company vehicle was as free as practicable of cadmium. The employees used the truck as an office, break area, and lunch area and were exposed to hazards associated with cadmium. A wipe sample collected from the steering wheel of the truck revealed the presence of cadmium at a concentration of 1.725 ug/sample.
