29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): (This provision is referenced by 29 CFR 1928.21(a)(5)) The employer did not provide employees with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment, and whenever a new chemical hazard the employees have not previously been trained about is introduced into their work area. a) On or about September 4, 2013, in the Calf Arena: The employer had not provided hazard communication training on hazardous chemicals in the work area to include T-Chlor and Advanced Acid. The chemicals are utilized to clean milk processing equipment in the facility. Abatement certification is required for this item.
