29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit routes were not free and unobstructed: a) Rear fire door by loading dock, Control Screening, LLC, DBA Autoclear, 2 Gardner Road, Fairfield, NJ 07004. The exit route at the rear of the building was obstructed with empty 55 gallon drums and full trash bags reducing exit width to approximately 14 inches. Condition noted on or about 9/9/2013.

29 CFR 1910.1025(h)(1): All surfaces were not maintained as free as practicable of accumulations of lead: a) Work floor, Control Screening, LLC, DBA Autoclear, 2 Gardner Road, Fairfield, NJ 07004. The employer failed to maintain the workplace as free as practicable of lead dust accumulations for workers assembling x-ray security scanning devices. Lead contamination was found on the exterior door flap of an x-ray scanner at 52.7 micrograms per 100 centimeters squared (ug/100cm2) and 59.3 ug/100 cm2 on the workfloor below the scanner. Condition observed on or about 9/9/2013.
