29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level and was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) 65 Bergen Street, The entry roof top, Newark, NJ. Employees were exposed to a fall both to the inside and outside while accessing and egress from the roof top next to the edge, thereby exposing employees to fall hazards of approximately 17 feet to the deck, and approximately 21 feet to the outside parking lot. violation observed on or about 09/19/2013.
