29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): Frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials, and equipment to be conducted by a competent person designated by the employer was not provided by the employer who was responsible to initiate and maintain an accident prevention program: a- Parking Lot #1, 5100 Black Horse Pike, Mays Landing NJ: A competent person did not conduct frequent and regular inspections of the jobsite. Employees on this site were exposed to hazards including, but not limited to fall hazards. Condition noted on or about 09/19/13. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a- Parking Lot #1, 5100 Black Horse Pike, Mays Landing NJ: Employees, not supplied with fall protection, were exposed to fall hazards ranging from approximately 9 feet 2 inches to 14 feet to the ground surface below when performing solar panel installation and other related activities from a canopy with a pitch of approximately 10 degrees. Condition observed on or about 09/19/13.
