29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a. On or about September 18, 2013 at the above addressed jobsite, employees working on the 6/12 pitched roof of the three story building were exposed to falls of approximately 30 feet due to the lack of an adequate fall protection system.
