29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system: (a) 255 Northland Center, State College, Pennsylvania - An employee was exposed to an 18 foot fall hazard when working outside the warning lines without fall protection or observed by a safety monitor, on or about September 19, 2013. The DDP Roofing Services, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314724402, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 9/13/11, with respect to a workplace located at 2590 MacArthur Road, Whitehall PA 18052. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
