29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a) 1053 State St Springfield, MA: On or about August 1, 2013, two employees were observed roofing this theatre building more than 22 FT above the ground below without any fall protection, which is not in accordance with this subpart: Young Developers, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)1, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315235713, citation number 1, item number 7a and was affirmed as a final order on July 20, 2011 with respect to a workplace located at 2989 Whitney Ave Hampden, CT: Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1).
