29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:    Location:  5050 Oakland Avenue, St. Louis, MO  63110    Two electricians were exposed to a fall hazard as they were installing a solar panel system on the roof of a structure without the use of any fall protection system:        a) The employees were exposed to an approximate 17 foot fall to the next lower roof top as they were threading solar panel wires through conduit on the east facing upper roof top;        b) The employees were exposed to an approximate 30 foot fall hazard as they were installing the solar panel wires on the pedestrian walkway roof over Oakland Avenue.    Aschinger Electric was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 313018293, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 09/02/2011 with respect to a workplace located at 103 McDonald's Drive, Troy, IL  62234.
