29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. a) At the jobsite, on the roof, on or about 10/3/13: Employees were working on a 4:12 pitch residential roof, with an approximate ground to eave height of 10 feet, without fall protection. b) At the jobsite, on the roof, on or about 10/3/13: Employees were working on a 4;12 pitch residential roof, with an approximate ground to eave height of 18 feet, without fall protection. The Roofing Guys was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315849273, citation number 1, item number 1a and was affirmed as a final order on 4/25/12, with respect to a workplace located at 129 Iron Oak Circle, North Syracuse, NY. Abatement certification must be submitted for this item.
