29 CFR 1926.502(h)(1)(v): The safety monitor shall not have other responsibilities which could take the monitor's attention from the monitoring function. a) 425 S. 15th Street, Worksite, Roof - on or about October 9, 2013, employees are working at the edge of a low slope roof, no less than 28 feet above finished grade, while working in an area that is less than 50 feet in its least dimension and the designated safety monitor was involved with other work responsibilities which pulled his attention away from the monitoring function.
