29 CFR 1910.266(g)(2): The employer failed to assure that each vehicle used to perform any logging operation was inspected before initial use during each workshift. Defects or damage were not repaired or the unserviceable vehicle was not replaced before work commenced. a) Hwy. 437, Franklinton, LA; On or about, 10/8/13 the employer did not ensure that a lowboy trailer was inspected prior to use. Hydraulic fluid was leaking from a frayed hose on the driver side loading ramp. Employees were exposed to struck-by hazards.
