29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) On October 16, 2013, at the location of 1545 Fangboner Road in Fremont, OH: the employer did not assure employees were protected from fall hazards while performing work on the roof of a nursing home addition. The employees were exposed to approximately a 9 feet fall to the ground below. Steury Enterprises & Sons, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard CFR 1926.501(b)(11), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 109154, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on January 23, 2012,with respect to a workplace at 28370 Kensington Lane in Perrysburg, Ohio.
