29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: PA Turnpike Interchange, Jim Thorpe, PA: The newly constructed bridge deck over the turnpike was not equipped with proper fall protection along the right edge exposing employees to an 18-20 foot fall hazard, as observed on or about October 23, 2013. Abatement Certification Required.
