Employers in multi-employer workplaces shall comply with the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(2).    a) facility wide- Employees performing keratin treatments are exposed to formaldehyde which is contained in Global Keratin Hair Taming System with Juvexin Proline. A bulk sample that was taken on 10/25/13 was found to contain 3.59% formaldehyde. The employer failed to develop and implement a written hazard communication program specifically for formaldehyde.     NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1,000 AS PER 29 CFR 1903.19.
