29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): Machine guarding was not provided to protect operator(s) and other employees from hazard(s) created by rotating parts and/or struck-by hazards: (a) On or about October 23, 2013 in the Pro Pipe Cell, the interlocking safeguard on the Mori Seiki DTH 32 CNC lathe was disengaged to allow the machine to cycle with the door open. Diamond Precision Products was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard [29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1)], which was contained in OSHA inspection number 708478 , citation number 1, item number 4A and 4B and was affirmed as a final order on April 10, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 100 Veterans Drive, Johnson Creek, Wisconsin 53038.
