29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4): Ladder(s) were used for purposes other than the purpose for which they were designed: On or about October 28, 2013, located in front and to the left of the garage, an employee was using a 6-foot, Werner A-frame ladder leaned against the frame of the house to remove nails embedded on the top-plate of the frame. The ladder was used for other than the purpose for which it was designed. The employee was exposed to a fall hazard from the ladder slipping out of position.
