29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(7): Ladder(s) that were unsecured or not provided with slip-resistant feet were used on slippery surfaces. Worksite: The extension ladder that the employee was required to use to reach the residential gutter was not secured nor did it have its slip-resistant feet in place to prevent it from accidental displacement. On 9/28/2013 an employee fell to the deck below while working from a ladder that was not secured and received a severe right ankle injury.
