29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: a) On or about October 25, 2013, Keller Homes Inc. did not ensure that employees of Robbins Roofing Specialists Inc., a subcontractor engaged in residential construction activities 6 ft or more above lower levels were protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest system. An employee was observed installing roofing components on a residential roof, not being tied off to the fall protection anchor point, exposed to falls in excess of 11 feet. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
