29 CFR 1910.215(b)(9): The maximum angular exposure above the horizontal plane of the wheel spindle as specified in paragraphs (b)(3) and (4) of this section was exceeded, and the distance between the wheel periphery and the adjustable tongue or the end of the peripheral member at the top exceeded one-fourth inch. a) On or about September 26, 2013, in the workplace: The distance of the tongue guard to the wheel periphery on an Atlas Press Company abrasive wheel grinder, serial number #5174KC07181 was measured at one and one-fourth inch. Abatement certification is required for this item.
