29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide training to ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program are understood by employees and that the knowledge and skills required for the safe application, usage, and removal of the energy controls are acquired by employees:    (a)  Facility, Industrial Way, Vineland NJ: Training had not been provided to employees performing actions including but not limited to scraping glue from the box making machine, unjamming sticky labels from the label machines, picking up produce on the floor along the conveyor lines, unjamming the conveyor line,  occurred on or about 10/24/13.    NOTE:  IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:    (a)  Lucca Freezer and Cold Storage Facility, Industrial Way, Vineland NJ:  Ingoing nip points located along the conveyor system were not provided with a guard, observed on or about 10/24/13.    NOTE:  IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area:    a) Lucca Freezer and Cold Storage Facility, Industrial Way, Vineland NJ: Training was not provided to employees who work around or adjacent to employees handling products including but not limited to Chlorinated Degreaser, E2 Hand Wash& Sanitizer, HDQ Neutral One -Step Disinfectant, NABC Concentrate, Austin 1 Bleach Commercial Disinfectant Sanitizer and Green Solutions Industrial Cleaner 105 occurred on or about 10/24/13.    NOTE:  THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 AS PER 29 CFR 1903.19.
