29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries: a) On or about October 31, 2013 and at times prior thereto in the warehouse; the portable fire extinguisher located next to electrical panel LP-12 was blocked by multiple boxes and bins of various items. The fire extinguisher was not readily accessible to employees. b) On or about October 31, 2013 and at times prior thereto in the warehouse; the portable fire extinguisher located on the South wall of the electrical storage room was blocked by various electronics including computers, televisions, lights, etc. The fire extinguisher was not readily accessible to employees. The Salvation Army was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 313759052, citation number 1, item number 8 and was affirmed as a final order on 8/26/2010, with respect to a workplace located at 452 Clinton Ave, Albany, NY 12206.

29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1)(i): Work space was less than 30 inches wide in front of electric equipment operating at 600 volts, nominal, or less: a) On or about October 31, 2013 and at times prior thereto in the warehouse; multiple boxes and bins filled with various materials blocked the electrical panel, labeled "LP-12", exposing employees to hazards in the event of an emergency or if quick access to the panelis needed. Sufficient access and working space was not provided and maintained about the electrical equipment to permit ready and safe operation and maintenance of such equipment. The Salvation Army was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 313759052, citation number 1, item number 12 and was affirmed as a final order on 8/26/2010, with respect to a workplace located at 452 Clinton Ave, Albany, NY 12206.
