29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that tension would not be transmitted to joints or terminal screws: On or about October 30, 2013, the employer powered the water fountain in the maintenance shop with a flexible cord that was not equipped with strain relief and the insulated wires were showing, exposing the employees to an electrical shock hazard. The Purina Animal Nutrition, LLC, dba Land O'Lakes Purina Feed, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315542811, citation number 1, item number 5 and was affirmed as a final order on 03/20/2012 with respect to a workplace located at 2726 W. Division St. Springfield, MO 65802.
