In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(ii): Employee training did not include the physical and health hazards of the chemicals in the work area: a) Perfection Plating, Inc., Elk Grove Village, IL-The employer did not provide effective hazard communication training regarding chemicals such as the metals that employees may be exposed to or work with in the plating or wastewater treatment processes, and did not address the health hazards of those metals, such as copper, nickel, silver, tin, and, particularly, lead, which is considered a carcinogen. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
