29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not ensure that frequent and regular inspections of the job sites, materials, and equipment were conducted by a competent person: JOB SITE: 403 W. Argonne Drive, Kirkwood, MO 63122, at this work site, the employer did not conduct frequent and regular inspections of their job sites by a competent person. Workers were observed on a 10:12 pitch roof, approximately 22 feet 4 inches eave to ground level, actively installing new roof shingles without any form of fall protection, operate pneumatic nail guns without any form of eye or face protection and the Werner Aluminum extension ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access. The workers were exposed to fall and struck-by hazards. The ANDRES ROOFING COMPANY was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314237215, citation number 1, item number 1, issued on 4/21/2010, and was affirmed as a final order on 5/17/2010, with respect to a workplace located 2350 Menard Street, Saint Louis, MO 63104.
