OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees being struck by a bulldozer and caught between a bulldozer and waste container:      a)  Yard Area:  Worker was not protected from being struck by and or caught between the FiatAllis dozer and waste container when attaching a chain within the space between the dozer and the waste container, on or about 11/2/2013.          Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to :          When coupling a tractor to equipment, have workers stand clear of the space between the tractor and the equipment. Before allowing any person to couple the equipment, stop the machine, place the transmission in neutral and set the brakes.
