29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by a guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, or an alternative fall protection measure that meets a provision described in paragraph (b) of 29 CFR 1926.501.     a)  On or about November 5, 2013 and at times prior to, employees were observed working/walking on the roof without fall protection such as, but not limited to conventional and or a safety monitor, exposing employees up to an 8 foot fall hazard.    Runkles Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315737270, citation 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as final order September 14, 2011, with respect to workplace at Hamilton Mill Parkway, GA 30519.     In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification.  This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
