29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: a) On or about November 1, 2013, Tuff Roof Contractors, LLC., as the controlling employer, did not ensure that employees of Five Star Roofing, LLC., a subcontractor, were protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. Employees were exposed to fall hazards in excess of 10 feet while engaged in roofing activities on the roof of a residential building with no fall protection in place. Abatement Note: Abatement certification and documentation is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
