The PRS Home Improvement Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 311287056, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 04/10/2009, with respect to a workplace located at 287 Weyman Avenue, new Rochelle, NY 10805.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Because of the portable ladder's length the side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access and the ladder was not secured at its top to a rigid support, and a grasping device, such as a grabrail, was not provided to assist employees in mounting and dismounting the ladder: a) Job Site, 35 Westward Lane, Phelam Manor, NY: The 28' high "Werner" metal extension ladder, Model D1328-2, that was used by the employee was not secured at the top and a grasping device was not provided, on or about 11/5/2013. PRS Home Improvement Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 311287056, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 04/10/2009, with respect to a workplace located at 287 Weyman Avenue, New Rochelle,NY 10805.
