OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to being crushed. WORKSITE: The employer did not ensure that a multi-family residential house, being elevated using an "Hydraulic Jacking System" was appropriately and positively secured, cribbed, and/or blocked to prevent accidental displacement of the house. On or about November 11, 2013, employees raised the house to its maximum intended height with the house resting unsecured on four (4) steel beams while the cribbing the house was to rest upon was being setup. The house was displaced and tipped over, injuring one of the employees in the process.
