29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point of operation guards were not designed and constructed as to prevent the operator from having any part of their body in the danger zone during the operating cycle:  a) Worksite, non-ferrous warehouse: Employees operating JMc Alligator Shear (Model #407 Serial #701) were not protected from placing hands into the point of operation. The shear blades were not guarded. The jaws were opened to 8" tapering back 20" long; on or about 11/14/13.  b) Worksite, non-ferrous warehouse: Employees operating RAMCUT RJ26-60 Hydraulic Shear were not protected from placing hands into the point of operation. The shear blades were not guarded. The jaws were opened to 10" tapering back 24" long; on or about 11/14/13.  NOTE: In addition to abatement certification, the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
