29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: a. On or about November 13, 2013, at the above addressed jobsite, employees installing the plywood roof sheeting on the 6/12 pitched roof were exposed to falls of approximatley 9 feet due to the lack of a fall protection system. Woodmark LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314814781, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on September 22, 2010, with respect to a workplace located at Hyde Street Building #9 in Arlington Heights, IL. Woodmark LLC was previously cited for a repeat violation of this occupational safety and health standard , which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315155556, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on April 18 2011, with respect to a workplace located at River Hills Subdivision in Bolingbrook, IL.
