29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  a)    On or about 11/18/13, the ENCO horizontal band saw, Serial 91791, did not have approximately 12" of the unused portion of the blade guarded at the time of the inspection.  b)    On or about 11/18/13, the Challenger grinder, Serial #0700H0250, guarding did not prevent access to the grinding head approximately 12" from the bearing block mount.  c)    On or about 11/18/13, the Flywheel guard on the Buffalo Industrial exhauster had an approximately 6" x 8" opening in the guard.   ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
