29 CFR 1926.1060(a): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee using ladders and stairways, as necessary, which would enable each employee to recognize hazards related to ladders and stairways and train each employee in the procedures to be followed to minimize these hazards: a) Job Site - Employees were not provided adequate ladder hazard recognition training as evidenced by employees using an 8 foot portable step ladder that was used in the closed position and resting on an unlevel surface, on or about 11/18/2013. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
