29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries: On or about November 14, 2013, employees were exposed to fire hazards when a fire extinguisher next to the exit door in the receiving department did not have the sign above it to identify it. The Lowes Home Centers, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1910.157(c)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 892393, citation number 1, item number 2b and was affirmed as a final order on May 23, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 755 W. Oglethorpe Blvd., Hinesville, GA 31315.
