29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. (a) Serrano Construction @ 3400 Tejon St., Denver, CO 80211; On and before November 14, 2013, the exposing employer failed to ensure that employees performing window removal and installation services were protected from fall hazards by an adequate protective system. This condition exposed an employee to a fall hazard of approximately 14 feet.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(22): Employees were observed carrying objects or loads that could cause the employee to lose balance and fall while using portable metal extension ladders. (a) Serrano Construction @ 3400 Tejon St., Denver, CO 80211; On and before November 14, 2013, an employee was observed carrying a load down a portable metal extension ladder that could have casued him to lose his balance and fall since carrying the load limited his ability to use his hands while descending the ladder. Condition exposed employee to fall hazards as he used the ladder.
