29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: (a) A guard was missing from the blade of the Hyd-Mech Saw, Model S20, Series II, serial No. 60900282 exposing employees to point of operation hazards. The employer has provided photo evidence of abatement.

29 CFR 1910.242(b): Compressed air used for cleaning purposes was not reduced to less than 30 p.s.i.: (a) Employees were using an air nozzle for cleaning purposes at various CNC machines in the west section of the shop with air pressure greater than 30 psi. The employer has provided photo evidence of new air nozzles which will not allow air perssure to exceed 30 psi.
