29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about November 15, 2013 at the above addressed jobsite, employees were performing roofing operations approximately 16.8 feet above the ground and were not using fall protection, thereby exposing employees to fall hazards. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d). Avila's Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314036708, citation number 1, item number 5 and was affirmed as a final order on August 30, 2010,with respect to a workplace located at 1013 Maple Avenue, Downers Grove, IL.
