29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. (a) Above All Seamless Gutters, 344 S. Summit View Dr., Ft. Collins, CO 80538: On and before November 19, 2013, three employees were installing gutters on a commercial building without the use of fall protection. This condition exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 12 feet. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is not required for this item (see enclosed Abatement-Certification Letter").
