29 CFR 1910.1000(a)(2): An employee's exposure to any substance in Table Z-1, the exposure limit of which was not preceded by a "C", must not exceed the 8-hour Time Weighted Average given for that substance any 8-hour work shift of a 40-hour work week: (a) Crossroads Beverage Group, LLC - An employee operating a fork lift was exposed to carbon monoxide at an 8-hour Time Weighted Average (TWA) of 159.4 ppm, approximately 3.19 times the permissible exposure limit (PEL) of 50 ppm, on or about November 18, 2013. The exposure level was derived from one sample collected over a 395 minute period. Zero exposure was assumed for the unsampled period of 85 minutes. (b) Crossroads Beverage Group, LLC - An employee operating a fork lift was exposed to carbon monoxide at an 8-hour Time Weighted Average (TWA) of 80.3 ppm, approximately 1.61 times the permissible exposure limit (PEL) of 50 ppm, on or about November 18, 2013. The exposure level was derived from one sample collected over a 380 minute period. Zero exposure was assumed for the unsampled period of 100 minutes. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
