29 CFR 1926.403(d)(1): Electric equipment was not firmly secured to the surface on which it was mounted: a) Unit 1, Basement - On or about 11/15/2013, a siding mechanic was exposed to a 120 volt shock hazard from an uncovered outlet box that was not mounted or otherwise secured in place. For the purposes of this inspection, the employer was determined to be the controlling and correcting employer of the jobsite. The employer is being cited under OSHA's Multi-Employer Workplace Policy. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1926.403(i)(2)(i): Live parts of electric equipment operating at 50 volts or more were not guarded against accidental contact by cabinets or other forms of enclosures, nor by any of the means listed in subparagraphs (A) through (D) of this paragraph: a) Unit 1, Basement - On or about 11/15/2013, a vinyl siding mechanic was exposed to a 120 volt electrical contact hazard from an outlet box that was not provided with a cover. For the purposes of this inspection, the employer was determined to be the controlling and correcting employer of the jobsite. The employer is being cited under OSHA's Multi-Employer Workplace Policy. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date.
