29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1)(ii): Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with a stair rail system along each unprotected side or edge: a) Unit 1, First Floor Stairs - On or about 11/15/2013, workers were exposed to a 10 foot fall from a set of stairs having more than four risers which had not been provided with a stair rail on its one open side. b) Unit 2, First Floor Stairs - On or about 11/15/2013, workers were exposed to a 10 foot fall from a set of stairs having more than four risers which had not been provided with a stair rail on its one open side. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
